Rollington Barn

Rollington Barn is PAW’s collective exhibition showcasing at least one artwork from each of the over 100 artists taking part in this year’s Festival.

As well as providing a taster of the work of all the artists who are part of an Open Studio, it’s also an opportunity to see the work of those artists who are not able to open their studios. On the barn door a large map of all the Open Studios can help you find your way around the Studios and Events, with information on the full range of concerts, talks and films taking place in the evenings. Brochures (free) and Event Programmes (£2) are available.
You will find an inspiring array of paintings, prints, jewellery, sculpture, ceramics, photography, glass, greetings cards and much more. Work at Rollington can be purchased and taken away on the day. We accept cash, cheques with identification and most credit and debit cards. At least two of the exhibiting artists will be present each day who will be happy to provide more information.

You will also see some of the delightfully creative art by students from local schools as part of our Purbeck Young Artists scheme – based on the Festival theme of ‘A Moment in Time’.

If you would like to win some artwork by one of our PAW 2017 artists remember to pick up a competition postcard here or at any Open Studio, from Durlston or any evening event and make sure you get it signed!

Rollington Barn is a beautiful historic stone building. In the courtyard the café, run by ‘Love Cake’ of Swanage, provides a selection of delicious homemade cakes, light lunches and hot and cold drinks. Opening hours are the same as for the exhibition.
