Planning for next year is in full swing – here are a few tasters of what you can expect!

Our artists, regular and new, will warmly open their studios for you to explore and enjoy. At Rollington Barn, our collective exhibition, you will find an inspiring variety of art by PAW artists and delicious refreshments. Nurturing young people’s interest in the arts is a key area of PAW’s work – the Purbeck Young Artists scheme is already underway with schools and artists enthusiastically planning their workshops.

An exciting and full events programme is on offer, including I Fagiolini who are bringing their superb production of Monteverdi’s opera Orfeo to Wareham, the welcome return of the Gabrieli Consort, and an event for lovers of dance. Fascinating talks will be given on a range of topics by local experts such as renowned photographers Julian Sawyer and Paul Barton, whose Dorset landscapes are stunning.

PAW Festival offers a unique opportunity to be inspired by a range of visual and performing arts whilst enjoying beautiful Purbeck. You can pack your evenings with wonderful music and enlightening talks, and during the day explore Purbeck’s hidden corners, enjoy local walks and talking to the artists about their work.

So do keep an eye on our website and Facebook for more information on an exciting PAW Festival in 2017.
