PURBECK ART WEEKS FESTIVAL
SATURDAY MAY 23 – SUNDAY JUNE 7

ANOTHER GREAT SUCCESS!

Record numbers of visitors enjoyed the Purbeck Art Weeks (PAW) Festival this year. The Festival theme ‘Out of the Depths’ inspired a huge range of artistic creativity and events – from paintings, printmaking, sculpture and photography to furniture making, jewellery, and glass, plus talks, concerts, community celebrations and much more. Sales of art from Rollington Barn and Durlston surpassed last year’s records, events were sold out, superb music was enjoyed by many, ideas and inspirations were exchanged, and visitors young and old were diverted and delighted by PAW’s ‘wonderfully eclectic mix of art and crafts with a warm welcome’. For more comments see Visitor Feedback. Thanks to all everyone who provided us with their valuable comments!

The President of Purbeck Art Weeks Festival the sculptor Philip Jackson said after his visit this year “the joy of PAW is that it is spread over so many venues and involves so many people that you get a real feeling of a community pulling together in a wonderful common endeavour. ….. I feel very privileged to be associated with this event”. To read more about Philip Jackson’s visit click here.

Overall this year’s Festival was bigger and better than ever before – and great fun!

We would like to welcome you back to the Purbeck Art Weeks Festival in 2016 – so watch this space, and in the meantime put next year’s dates in your diaries May 28th – June 12th 2016…
